Creative Challenge for August

The Creative Challenge for August is here! Are you ready?

For this month’s challenge, our Concept Art team provided a sketch layout for inspiration. One of our concept artists then put her own spin on the original sketch and changed it from portrait to landscape.

Her process? “I cut four pieces of colored cardstock (Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen, and Mint Macaron) into 3/4″ (1,9 cm) strips, laid them side by side, then stamped them with the floral image from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set before running them through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die.” Isn’t it gorgeous?

Get the “Amazing” sentiment by running Gold Foil through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine using the Amazing Thanks Die. And don’t forget to add a little glitz to your card by adhering a few sequins from the Sparkle and Shine Sequins Assortment.

What can YOU do with this sketch? We can’t wait to see your work, so be sure to post your creations on social media. And remember: use #CreativeChallengeSU so we can find your project(s)!

Just love to make greeting cards and other paper art and crafts! Having lots of fun, too much maybe? Teaching and inspiring others to be creative is my other love so here's my way to share!
