If you’re looking for a fun, creative challenge, look no further—we have one ready to go!
This month, our challenge involves fussy cutting pieces from an embossed image. To start, use the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder to emboss fun leaf images on Basic White Cardstock. Then, use a few of the Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves however you choose! We used Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Petal Pink, and Soft Succulent, and we used both the light and dark shades of the Blends to add texture to the leaves. After that we fussy cut the leaves from the embossed paper using the back—or debossed—side of the paper.
Next we added the leaves to a card base of layered Splendid Day Designer Series Paper on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Then we took the “Happy” element from the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack and stamped it with the VersaMark Pad. We added some Gold Embossing Powder to the wet ink and used the heat embossing tool to give it a whole new look. We finished the card with a few Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins and some Baker’s Twine, and we love how it turned out!
