Making a CASE for CASEing!

CASEing (Copy and Share Everything) is the quickest way we know to reach the creative zone—which is why our catalogs are filled with lovely samples to light up your imagination. Pick a card, and try to envision it with your own twist: some shimmery ribbon here, a different Designer Series Paper layer there—and before you know it, you’ll be happily stamping away at your crafting table!

Our concept artist was inspired by the “For All the Great Things” card. As she says, “I loved the layout but wanted a more feminine feel, so I changed the imagery and colors.” She created a sketch of the original card and proceeded to make her own fabulous rendition using the Potted Geraniums Stamp Set and the Geraniums Dies.

Instead of using the darker colors of the original card, she chose Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, and Petal Pink inks and paper—along with a couple of shiny, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper layers (that balance beautifully with the Brushed Metallic Dots). Notice, too, how she used Metallics Stampin’ Emboss Powders to add texture plus an earthy feel to the pot and garden marker. So lovely!

Why not flip through the upcoming January–April Mini Catalog and see what you could CASE for a January workshop. There is just so much to choose from—from floating lanterns to seashells to valentines. Whatever you do, have fun and post your results on social media for everyone to see!
