We loved the layout of our Grateful for the Everyday Magic of You card, with the mismatched vertical paper strips behind the sentiment and flowers. In fact, we loved the layout so much, we decided to CASE it with the Happy Mother’s Day card!
We started by stamping the stitch lines in VersaMark Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then we quickly covered the wet ink with black Basics Stampin’ Emboss Powder; we used the Heat Tool to emboss the lines and make them stand out even more. Next, we splattered the panel with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
To create the flower bouquet at the center of the card, we stamped out the flower image from the Marigold Moments Bundle in Crushed Curry, then added accents in Mango Melody. We die cut the flowers and a few leaves in Old Olive with Garden Green accents. We assembled the bouquet using a mix of Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to add different layers. We finished the card with some Crushed Curry Fun Flowers Resin Shapes.
If you like what you see, don’t be afraid to CASE it! You could copy the layout, or you could mimic the colors or the techniques—the possibilities are endless!
