CASE—Copy And Share Everything

When we’re running low on ideas, we turn to CASEing—Copying And Sharing Everything! Whether it’s CASEing colors or layouts, we love the timeless saying: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

This month, we decided to CASE a technique from our Friend card. When making our Friend card, we ran an Old Olive ink pad along a piece of Basic White Cardstock. We then die cut a flower pattern out of that cardstock and added it to our card. For our Du + Ich = Chemie card, we wanted to use the same technique of coloring a panel of cardstock with an ink pad—except instead of die cutting the cardstock, we used it for our card base! First, we colored the cardstock with Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads, then stamped an image from the It’s a Science Stamp Set. We added a simple sentiment and finished the card with a few Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels. We loved how the Pearls looked like bubbles floating out of the beakers and tubes.

What do you think of our CASEd project? If you like what you see, feel free to CASE this technique in your own projects, and don’t forget to share them on social media so we can all see!

Just love to make greeting cards and other paper art and crafts! Having lots of fun, too much maybe? Teaching and inspiring others to be creative is my other love so here's my way to share!
