Did you know you can color your stamps without using a single ink pad? It’s true! Instead of ink pads, you can use Stampin’ Write Markers to add color and variety to your stamps.
For our card, we used a stamp from the Reasons to Smile Stamp Set as our focal point. We colored the words with Coastal Cabana, the flowers with Daffodil Delight, and the leaves with Granny Apple Green. We colored the stamp twice to make sure the image was nice and dark, then we breathed on the stamp to activate the color. We stamped out the image and then added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to give the card a little shine without taking away focus from the stamp.
This technique is super simple, but it allows you to have multiple colors on your stamp rather than just one color from an ink pad. Give it a try this week and let us know how it turns out!
